What is Takhasus? 

The Takhasus (Specialization) Program is an advanced Islamic studies curriculum designed for students who have completed the foundational Dars-e-Nizami course and wish to specialize in a particular field of Islamic sciences. This program provides in-depth knowledge and research-based study in areas such as Tafsir (Quranic Exegesis), Hadith (Prophetic Traditions), Fiqh (Islamic Jurisprudence), Usul al-Fiqh (Principles of Jurisprudence), Comparative Religion, and Arabic Literature.

The curriculum is structured to enhance analytical skills, scholarly research, and critical thinking, enabling students to interpret Islamic texts, issue rulings (Ifta), and engage in academic debates. Emphasis is placed on understanding classical texts, applying Islamic knowledge to modern-day issues, and refining Arabic language proficiency.

This program is ideal for those aspiring to become Muftis, Islamic scholars, educators, and researchers, contributing to the field of Islamic academia, religious leadership, and interfaith discourse. It is taught by experienced scholars, ensuring students receive rigorous training and expertise in their chosen specialization
